For Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month this September, UCSF Cancer Resource Center invites members of the community to join one another in an event to support gynecological cancer survivors and their loved ones. Bring questions to be answered by our expert panel of presenters.

A panel discussion and the film screening strive to bring connections and awareness about the many issues woman and their families face when diagnosed with Gynecological Cancer. You will hear information on treatment and trends, coping with chemotherapy, supportive care, sexuality, symptom management, psychological health, and nutritional strategies.

The following series of events are planned (only in the English language):

With Stefanie Ueda, MD, Kathleen Cavanaugh, NP, Tami Rowan, MD, Nancy Shepard, NP, Laura Dunn, MD, PhD, and Greta Macaire, MS, RD, CSO. Moderated by Pauline Beggs, RN.

Light refreshments provided.

To register, please call the Cancer Resource Center at (415) 885-3693.
