Why is the influenza (flu) outbreak in the nation so serious this winter? The data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that the number of people with the flu continues to be high across the country, including some people with serious flu-related complications. Dr. Deborah Yokoe, an expert in infectious diseases and infection control at UCSF, will give us invaluable advice regarding flu prevention, symptoms and treatment in this free and bilingual (English/Cantonese) lecture. All are welcome.
