Differences in Healthcare: Vietnam and the United States - A Cultural Sharing Experience

A Special class for UCSF staff and students - October 24, 2014 (Friday)

Did some of you take care of immigrant patients before when you might have wished that you knew more about the patients' cultural background from their country of origin? Here is a chance to learn more about Vietnamese patients. Tran Bao Nguyen, a student intern from UC Berkeley for the Asian Health Institute, will give this important lecture and share her experiences to raise awareness to the healthcare differences between Vietnam and the U.S. At her young age, Tran is already a stakeholder in a free healthcare clinic in Vietnam. She just returned to Vietnam this summer to conduct the free clinic, and is gracious enough to share her experiences and perspectives.

Please come and join her in this interesting lecture.

Free Pizza! (Limited supply - first come, first serve)!
