The Asian Health Institute, with the collaboration of the American Association of Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture (AACMA), presents a free 3-part bilingual (English and Cantonese or Mandarin) series in July, August, and September. Views from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) For Anyone Interested in Women's Health Issues - No gender restriction on participants This special free bilingual (English/Cantonese) lecture is dedicated to all women! Many women have double duties as a working mother and also caring for the whole family, and in doing so, neglected their own health and well-being. This lecture serves as a gentle reminder for women to take time to take good care of themselves, and provides advice from both western medicine and the TCM angles. Take a break and come join us! Our special speaker, Dr. (China) Johanna Chu Yen, is President of the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderale in Florida. Dr. Yen graduated from the Second Medical College of Shanghai, China, and has specialized in women's health for decades. She will demonstrate many acupuncture and acupressure points in this lecture. Third in the TCM Series, Dr. Yen will share her insights and expertise for women's health in the different decades of life.
