The UCSF Asian Health Institute advocates within the Medical Center to improve services of our Asian patients in a respectful and culturally sensitive care environment that reduces communication barriers. The UCSF Medical Center offers all patients a full spectrum of services from prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care, to rehabilitation in all primary care and specialty services. The Asian Health Institute also aims to increase medical access and quality of care, as well as improve satisfaction in Asian patients, especially those with limited English proficiency.
