Bilingual (Cantonese/English) Health Education Virtual Town Hall
Lung cancer is a leading cancer diagnosis and leading cause of death in the Asian community both here in the U.S. and overseas. Within the AAPI subgroups, Vietnamese and Hawaiians have the highest rates of lung cancer deaths, while Filipino men and women have the lowest rates. Data from a study showed that Asians were 2.13 times more likely to be diagnosed with lung cancer at a later stage than Whites. Early diagnosis helps to get treatment at an earlier stage, and improves the survival probability and quality of life. But how can you find out early? Want to find out more about lung cancers? Please join us in this important town hall.
